Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet and Arizona Cardinals starting left tackle Paris Johnson are expected to play in Thursday’s game in Glendale, Ariz., per reports.
NFL Network reported Charbonnet was cleared to play after sitting out Seattle’s 44-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints this past weekend with a knee injury. He is listed as questionable to play in Thursday’s game after serving as a full participant in practice on Wednesday.
Charbonnet, 24, has rushed for just 57 yards on 27 carries with one touchdown in two games this season.
Kenneth Walker III found the end zone on two occasions against the Saints. He leads the Seahawks in rushing yards (163) and rushing touchdowns (three).
ESPN reported that Johnson would play on Thursday. He was a limited participant in each practice this week after he sat out Arizona’s 16-15 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday due to a knee injury.
Johnson, 24, has started all 33 games in which he has played since the Cardinals selected him with the sixth overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.
Like Arizona (2-1), Seattle also fell short against San Francisco. The Seahawks (2-1) responded to that 17-13 season-opening loss with victories over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Saints.
