The Green Bay Packers will hold their first training camp practice of 2018 today at Ray Nitschke Field.
Mike McCarthy held his season-opening press conference yesterday — which we carried live on The Fan — and here are some of the highlights from Day 1:
- EDGE Nick Perry (ankle) and OT Bryan Bulaga (knee) will start the season on the PUP list.
- WR Michael Clark has retired from football, and will not remain with the team.
- OL Cole Madison is attending to a personal matter, so he’s not currently with the team.
- The Shareholders Meeting was moved indoors, due to inclement weather.
- Mark Murphy remains confident that Russ Ball will get a contract extension done with Aaron Rodgers.
