According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Milwaukee Brewers are close to a deal with free-agent starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin.
Last year, Chacin made 32 starts for the San Diego Padres. He went 13-10 with a 3.89 ERA, allowing 157 hits and 72 walks in 180 1/3 innings.
