6 Reasons Opening Day is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

  1. Tailgating -Summer Edition

Do I need to say more? Here in Wisconsin we are known for our tailgating from Milwaukee to Green Bay, but it’s different when you tailgate at Miller Park.  What’s not to love to be among your Brew Crew comrades, sucking suds, grilling up some brats in the sunshine, summer weather and playing bean bag toss while the shadows of Miller Park are in your peripheral? Sounds like true love to me.

  1. Roll Out the Barrel is Back

Link arms with the nearest person, grab your beer and find your inner Polish. Roll Out the Barrel is Back Baby! Just try not to spill your beer on the person in front of you while you sway back and forth proudly singing.. “Roooooll out the Barrel, we’ll have a barrel of FUN…”

  1. You can grow out your Rollie Fingers mustache

We are long past Movember and Aaron Rodgers is in hibernation for the moment. Where can you turn for great facial hair inspiration? Good news, with Brew Crew mustache extraordinaire like Bernie Brewer or legend Rollie Fingers, you will feel welcomed walking into Miller Park with the perfectly curled mustache. We just recommend you get your hand ready for all the high fives you’ll be getting!

  1. Racing Sausages

Not much of an explanation is needed here if you’re a long time fan of the Brewers. Only at Miller Park will you be spared eye daggers while you’re with your buddies, beer in hand yelling “Run wiener, Run!”

  1. Today you whole heartedly believe the Brew Crew is going to the World Series

Give it about a month and you will probably be faced with the sad realization that it’s not going to happen.  But hey, we always have a better chance than the Cubs, right?

  1. Winter is over, officially

In Wisconsin, the likely hood of winter being entirely over by the last week of March is probably not going to happen. We will have a couple more inches of snow at some point. (Don’t shoot the messenger) But as soon as that first pitch is thrown opening day, it can snow moments later, it doesn’t matter. Winter is over because baseball said so.
